Frequently asked questions

How much compensation can passengers on AR7850 claim?

Under Israel's Aviation Services Law, the fixed compensation is set by flight distance. For AR7850 it is ₪3,670 per passenger, subject to when the cancellation was announced, the alternative offered and the exceptions in the law. It is paid on top of a refund or alternative ticket, not instead of it.

Is Aerolíneas Argentinas exempt if it notified passengers in advance?

The law exempts the airline from monetary compensation if it notified the passenger at least 14 days before the flight, or later with an alternative flight within certain time windows. The date of the notice you received is what decides this.

How long does the airline have to pay?

Under the law, compensation a passenger is entitled to is paid within 45 days of the written demand. We track that deadline and follow up if it passes.

What does it cost to claim through FlyBack?

Nothing upfront. We charge a success fee only if compensation is actually received, as set out in the agreement before you sign.

How far back can I claim?

You can claim for flights from the last 4 years, counted from the flight date (the limitation period). Where there is entitlement and a written demand was filed, monetary compensation is to be paid within 45 days, and a ticket refund within 21 days.
